Faculty & Staff Opportunities

Illinois International awards grants to faculty and staff to support internationally-focused events and activities, as well as international travel for conferences. In addition, Global Relations has been designated as the representative for the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to the Fulbright Program, and as the central liaison with the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES).

Below are the grants and opportunities for which faculty and staff may apply.

International Conference Travel Grant

Illinois International awards the International Conference Travel Grant to full-time, tenure-track status faculty members for travel and related expenses for purposes of presenting at an internationally-themed conference that takes place outside the United States. Internationally-Themed Event Grant

Fulbright Program
