Illinois International refers to the Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs and Global Strategies, its shared services functions, and its reporting units. We are dedicated to supporting campus internationalization through our administrative, academic, and programmatic services and initiatives.
Vice Provost for International Affairs and Global Strategies

The Vice Provost for International Affairs and Global Strategies reports to the Provost and serves as the senior international officer for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Vice Provost also has administrative oversight over the following functions and units.
Shared Services Functions of the Office of the Vice Provost
The Business Operations team provides scholarship, grant, and financial services to the units of Illinois International.
The Global Communication team provides expertise and services in the field of marketing and communications, including: branding, public relations, speech writing, journalism, graphic design, social media, outreach, and web management.
The Human Resources team provides human resource services to the units of Illinois International.
Shared Administrative Services
The Shared Administrative Services team oversees the day-to-day office operations of Illinois International by providing excellent customer service and supporting the unit’s through scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, and related responsibilities.
Global Education and Training

International Safety and Security monitors world events, responds to student, faculty, and staff incidents abroad on a 24/7 basis, and increases the quality of and access to pre-departure training for University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign students, faculty, and staff traveling internationally.
